Comparing scores is tough for sure. But the North Laurel/Madison Central score certainly shows that expecting the top 7 to run the clock on the Jaguars is far from a given.  I think their body of work on defense deserves a little more respect than that.

I’ll defer to you on the body of the work, simply because I’m unfamiliar with their personnel. I just don’t think citing one individual comparative score, regardless of which 5A team it is, will garner much of an evaluation. However, it’s so nice to talk about new blood in the top 10 though. I honestly hope they are competitive with the top. Makes for a better 5A.

5A one the more harder classes to rank. Mixed schedules have made it a good debate in rankings. The playoffs about to be too much fun this year in 5A. Looking forward to seeing how Highlands finishes the seasons after being down for so long. Highlands is now in 4A.....and that class is pretty deep too.

Hard to stay on the radar when you’re playing some of the weakest competition you possibly could.
