Garcia to the Bears?

Featured Replies

I was just watching Around the Horn and Jay said they are talking Jeff Garcia to the Bears. Should the Bears do this with the questionable play of Rex or stick with there man?

It would be a disaster. As we saw this year, Garcia is effective in one system, and it's a system not being used in Chicago...

It would be much like Garcia in Cleveland or Detroit.

I don't know about Garcia, but Rex is not the answer in Chi-town. :p

Garcia was a Pro Bowl QB in San Fran, he was also very good this year in Philly. Surround the guy with some talent and he produces.

The reason he was so bad in Cleveland and Detroit is because he was on awful teams. No QB in Cleveland or Detroit has had success in the past 10 years, it isn't just Garcia.

I think the Eagles should keep him, he turned their team around after Mcnabb went down with the knee injury.

With McNabb's history of injury they should pony up some cash to keep his services but I don't think he wants to sit on the bench, he's a competitor and he isn't getting younger. He's a WCoast guy so he doesn't have a whole bunch of choices.

I think at this point it certainly should be considered. Rex should be back up, and I'm not sure if he's second string either.

Kitna put up pretty good number this year for Detroit..

Its really more of the type of offense, and there is only one type of offense that fits Garcia best...

Is McNabb a better fit in Chicago than Philly?

Most likely, but why you asking this question because that definitely wont happen...

With Mike Martz as Offensive Coordinator, it would be hard for any QB not to put up good stats....
