The whole thing is honestly a little scary.  They obviously had a good reason to cancel but should have known way before 2.5 hours prior to the game if that is when they canceled.  What is scary is a kid is not cleared at noon but holding out to hope he is cleared at 5:00.  There should be a window, depending on injury, where if an athlete is not cleared by then he is considered out.  I am thinking 24 -48 hours for concussion type injury.  Let’s not forget it is high school and these kids have a lot more in front of them.

I do believe that is the major issue. Why are we waiting on a kid to clear injury protocol on a Friday. He’s had no practice contact, no preparation, and he’s being thrown into a contest that’s game speed fresh off of a injury. I agree with you completely this raises a lot of questions.

I hate this because Yogi is a darn good coach. Hopefully it turns around for this program at Frankfort.

The way I understand it, if Frankfort really is forefeiting, teams can either accept the forefeit, or cancel the game and find a new opponent. Not easy to do the latter at this point, but I'd be calling every team on Frankforts schedule trying to find a good week that works.

We saw during Covid, with a mix of communication and willingness to get it done, rescheduling can work pretty well. If that does happen, they're fortunate that most of the teams on Frankfort's remaining schedule are similar in size and in geography.

I hope this isn’t true. Hoping these kids get to play. Hope they can get through this.

I doubt this is a credible source.

Craig Foley had Frankfort rolling for years. The administration decided to make a change, and ever since, they've fallen apart.

kids showed up but its a liability letting kids play that fail the concussion test but, still try to tell us their ok. I love football but their future and safety is priority.

I'll just say god don't like ugly.

I like Coach Foley, still rooting for him at the Collegian level #KSU.

Do not know this person or anything much about Frankfort football except through BGP but this is an excellent post.
