As I said in the update thread this is only the 3rd time in the Broncos program history, they have been running clocked. The 2nd by a Kentucky team. The first was their first ever game as a program a 36-0 loss at Danville and the other was in 2023 a 45-6 loss to Ohio power Arch Bishop Hobon of Arkon OH. It is also only the 4th time in program history they have been shut out. The above mentioned first game ever in 2017 and a 6-0 loss in 2023 at Corbin and a 17-0 loss in the state semis last year to Trinity.

No surprise here really. Could see this coming after FD’s performance against Highlands last week.

Trinity made nice progress from week 1 to week 2. Rocks move up in class one week from tonight in Cincinnati vs Archbishop Moeller. 

The run blocking still needs work with Ohio #1 up next. Hoping for major progress. I think Trinity's defense can and will slow down Moeller. The Rocks will need a great offensive effort.

I saw Trinity winning this game by at least a few touchdowns but certainly didn't expect it to be a running clock. Great effort all around by the Shamrocks tonight.

 

Having seen Frederick Douglass in a scrimmage I'm not surprised by this result. I thought Trinity would shut them out.

On a positive note, for Bronco fans. Douglass alum Aveion Chenault had 2 catches tonight for 17 yards as a true freshman in his first college game at Western Michigan where they lost 23-6 to Michigan State. Congrats to Aveion!

This isn’t really a surprise to me. The scary thing is that it’s only Week 2 which means Trinity is likely going to be a lot better come playoff time.
