I don’t think our defense was that stellar. Vols missed a ton of open shots. We were hitting fine on offense but our defense is the weak link followed by zero/weak rebounding on defense. Fortunate to win with the turnovers. Offense played really well, Vols are on awesome on defense.

Defense definitely still was not great, but IMO was better than it has been most of the year. As you said Tennessee fortunately missed some open shots, but I think the intensity was better and closed off driving lanes better tonight. Still a lot to get better at defensively and rebounding too. However on the road down a couple of starters, I thought it was one of their better all around performances.

One of the good moves I thought Coach Pope made was in the 2nd half having Wiliams bringing the ball up and playing some point to allow the guys who are the shooters and used to being #2 and #3 positi

What an amazing win! Great performances by so many people. Robinson with a great gutsy effort while cramping in the second half. Brea made huge plays, Oweh huge clutch free throws, Williams finally pl

I'm rather stunned - didn't get a chance to watch the game, was frankly afraid to watch it even if I could have.  This was a huge, huge win for a team that struggles to win on the road.  And to be shorthanded? What a win!

I didn’t have a 48 point second half on my bingo card.

As I said in the prediction thread, UK of late has played well at UT.

They have to do something about the end of these games and the continual clock stoppages. It’s ridiculous.

The worst stoppage was when they checked to make sure there was 1:23 left in the game instead of 1:22. Who cares?

Cats also went the last 3 minutes or so without a basket again. Killed them against Vandy, thankfully we got to the line.

And it's virtually every night. College games take as long as NBA games, which are eight minutes longer. What are we doing?

We need a sports tsar (i.e. sports minister) to step in and get a handle on this. And no, I'm not making a joke. We are one of the few countries without one.

When Noah knocked down his three-pointer, you knew it was UK's night.

It is so frustrating. Jimmy Dykes mentioned it last night, saying Jaxson Robinson gets fouled and is going to the line, except the refs spend two minutes at the monitor, in a sense freezing the shooter.

I'm almost of the belief that each coach gets one challenge. Use it any time you want. If you're correct, you get one more. If you're incorrect, that's it.

That's how the NBA works. And you must use your challenge before the final two minutes.

Does that mean the NBA goes to the monitor on their own in the last two minutes? Because if so then that's still the same problem college has right now.

Besides freezing shooters, it also gives a coach a free timeout. I'd like to see the players kept away from coaches during reviews.

They have an elaborate list of what they can go to the replay monitor for (eg. common fouls), two minutes to go or not. I assume it's the same for college. In fairness, the NBA has a designated crew in NYC making the calls, not the on-court refs being the arbiters, so that may be why it moves faster in the final minutes. There just doesn't seem to be the same frequency of these extended games as you see in college on a nightly basis.

How any UK fan could find fault after this game is beyond me.  Yeah they didn't do this or didn't do that...but they went into a top 5 team in the country's home...missing arguably the 2 best leaders on the team...with not true point guard, and came out with a win!.  Big time gutsy game!!

Brea attacking the rim was the best thing I saw all night.  He does that, it takes UK's offense to another level.

I also thought on top of all that, that UK had a few calls go against them at crucial times...but they still hung in there!
