I saw where they wanted to start the game earlier because this game being delayed isn't delaying the upcoming weeks.  Gives the winner a few more hours of recover time before the next game.

Maybe with the earlier time the teams are flying home after the game? I could see that.

ESPN is losing a prime time game with that game time.

Duke and Old Miss play in the Gator Bowl at 7:30pm on ESPN.  They’ll have all the viewers since there is no Thursday night NFL game.

It could come down to how much can Georgia impose their will and run the ball.

Notre Dame's defense has so far looked much better than I've seen from them in years. 

I expect a close game and while I'd think Georgia could control things up front on both sides, I think Notre Dame may hold their own up front.

I'll say Georgia 31 Notre Dame 27, with 3 minutes to go. 

Totally agree Jumper, except for the score. I'm liking ND about 24-21.

I think this is the best team, by far that ND will face this year. Stockton showed what he could do in the SEC championship game, so I have no issues with him taking the reins in this one. The Domers win by 2 scores.  Their defense will make it tough on the new QB for the Dawgs.  It's setting up as an all B1G final and SEC homers will advocate for a return to the 2 team, anointed final.
