The Cards now (6-4) come east on I-64 for a Saturday afternoon game against the Cats (9-1) for the bragging rights of the state. The game is scheduled on ESPN at 5:15pm tip. Go Cats!!

Kentucky wins by 15-20. 

While the Cards are much improved from the previous two years, the roster is already decimated by injuries. Down to a seven man rotation, with three of the top seven original rotation out with injury. Two starters out for the year. 

No real post presence, fatigue will set in during the second half and Louisville won't be able to keep up.

Possible, but I would never bank on UK beating anyone by 15-20. They're a collection of solid vets, nothing more, nothing less. The opening line I saw was 10.5.

If Kentucky has shown anything, it's that unless they are playing a mid-major, they don't shoot the ball well. That does not bode well for the conference tilt.

If Johnson, Traore and especially Pryor were playing, I might actually pick Louisville to win this one, but they are three significant pieces to the original puzzle that are just going to be too much for Louisville to overcome in games against teams with a lot of talent. 

I would have given my left leg to watch Kasean Pryor in Rupp. Dude would have had all of BBN seething. 

Too much talent out for Louisville to win. If Kentucky doesn’t win by 10 or better I’d be surprised. I’m obviously hoping for the Cards to win but don’t see it happening as things are now.

See, this is what people think about UK, but "talented" is the last adjective I would use to describe UK.

Just looked up Pryor. Yeah, he would be a fan favorite to the Rupp faithful.

Poor old untalented Ky, that’s what the Ville faithful want to believe, if Ky is untalented, then the mighty Ville is destitute for talent, shall see come tomorrow afternoon at 5:15 about the talent level.

Louisville takes more than 50% of their shots from three so only shot they have of winning is to make threes which they haven't done well this season since shooting 27% from there. Coach Kelsey believes at some point they will start making them but it hasn't happened yet. KY is also stronger in the post which is another problem for the Cards. Louisville against Duke had the lead from start until midway through the 2nd half but Louisville wore down due to lack of depth and Duke pulled away. I think depth will again be an issue for the Cards today.

Butler warmed up with Kentucky during pregame warm-ups. I feel a lot better about any game that Butler is able to play in. Hopefully he's close to 100%, I'd hate to see him further injured that ankle or something else. 

Jack Givens said to expect Butler in small increments but not staying off the floor long unless it’s because of foul trouble or he re-injures his foot.
