I would be ok with OHS running that offense but I’d rather have an experienced championship caliber head coach leading the program.

Not many HS OCs are allowed Carte Blanche to run what they want.  99.9% of the OCs I know or have known run the offense / system as dictated by the Head Coach.   So Barnes isn't running it because the headman probably said no.

I understand how it works, I’m saying to your average fan they will say “ the play call is horrible and we hired the OC” when in reality it’s been that way since the beginning of fallens tenure. Fallen was the former OC when they ran wing T, then Reese became OC ( Long time Owensboro staffer), Mac Webb the next OC runs wing T now as a HC. So the run has always been the identity, you have to hire outside if you ever want it to change.

Rector has a championship and is an obvious winner. Got kids in college and had a few kids play in NFL. This is what we need here in Owensboro. 
 

Edge has been to 3 championships as a HC and a few when he was an asst at Owensboro. He also can get players in college. One thing I thought Jay Fallin did a great job with. Edge took kids with way less talent and got some , who I didn’t think should, get D1 offers. 
 

Morris might be the hottest of the three. Coming off 2 state championship appearances and beating us 3 years in row. Not sure if it was him or Fallin that got Crowe his offer to Illinois State.

Who’s going to get it. Neither. Owensboro will hire within. I’m sorry I wasted everyone’s time again on this post but I was asked.

VOR, I “believe” what TWT was insinuating was that Coach Fallin did a good job of helping promote kids for the next level. In the sense of sending film to coaches and directing certain kids to camps he thought would help them promote themselves to the next level. 
From there, it’s the college coaches prerogative but if the O players aren’t in line to get evaluated then that’s a 100% no scholarship.

Why would he leave , he is from Union and has them humming.
