He might not to be a head coach, he left Caldwell County as HC, to be a OHS assistant, I realize he might want to live in Oboro, so that might be why he moved to OHS and left a good HC job.

Nailed It!  The rumor mill has been fun but it is just that, rumors.  You have to give the Owensboro admin credit with keeping things this under wraps. That is easier said than done in the instant news days.

I’m just hear to keep the thread going. 

My son was told they won’t even start interviews until after the Christmas break. This is disappointing to me. 

That’s all I know for now.

Unacceptable here. It’s not going to fly  at Owensboro. 

It’s now 2025 and we still don’t have a coach here at Owensboro High School.

I think that was to be expected most folks assumed it would be after the new year before the AD made a hire.
