BB has had a great season but I think NCC is too much. Taking the Breds 35-14.

I think more importantly than which Brossart team shows up, it's can they stop the run.  Ludlow rolled up 300+ yards on the ground.  If NewCath decides to go run heavy, can Brossart stop them?  Brossart is fairly balanced on offense.  Mandel is a good player.  Whichever team can impose their will on the ground will win.  I give the nod to NewCath - 27 - 17

The Lloyd game most definitely favors New Cath for sure. Though I would like to think week 0/1 Lloyd would get beat by Week 5/6 Lloyd. But all in all I think this could be a good game, but I believe New Cath gets the win. I don’t believe it will be a running clock though.

Both sides will be ready to play. Regardless the outcome, I am glad these teams are facing off. It's good for 1A in NKY. Two teams that should be playing every year due to both having successful seasons recently.

It's about time this game is played.

I agree. If I remember correctly Bishop Brossart is why the numbers at New Cath are down. Did I remember reading that before?

While I wouldn’t put that entirely on Brossart, the new Brossart athletic complex (MAC) certainly enticed families giving both schools consideration. Now with NCC getting their own football/soccer/track facilities, that will level that playing field so to speak.
At the end of the day, these two schools compete in every facet of the High School experience, except football. They now have that chance this Friday.

It will be interesting to see if this can develop into a rivalry in the upcoming years (even though the schools are in different districts).  I think a majority of the world views Brossart as the "little Campbell County brother" to NCC.  I would love to see Adam K and the Mustangs get the win, but I would also think that the Breds might be too much for them.

We have come a long way since our 2A days when the BB-NCC games were "formality" games.

NewCath has a long storied football history, and I feel that their program has benefitted greatly from that tradition in comparison to our 17 year history.

We are a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, as are our primary feeders.  We have a Football/Soccer/Track and soon to be Baseball/Softball Complex in place, and our Middle School and Junior Varsity football programs have experienced recent history success against the Breds.  We are certainly on the right track and I feel we will surpass the Breds in time.

I'm hoping for a competitive football game in Crestview Hills Friday night.

NCC will run the show in this one. I don't see this as a close contest at all.

I think Brossart is closing the gap on NCC, I just don't think they have enough to pull the upset.

Brossart gets an opportunity tonight to show just how much they have closed the gap.
