This is going to be a showdown. Both teams come in 6-0 and will be facing off for likely the district championship. Adair comes off a 21-14 win over Glasgow which was only their 2nd all time win over Glasgow. Lane Grant the do it all RB for the Indians went out with injury but could be back Friday. QB Easton Jessie returned from injury in the Glasgow game as well. Hart County is rolling after a semi final appearance last season but the big question mark with them is they have yet to play a strong caliber opponent. Adair comes with a more balanced offensive attack while Hart runs the Wing T and pounds the ball on the ground for around 300 plus yards every week. It will be homecoming for Adair so expect a big crowd, and probably the biggest crowd Adair football has had in a long time.

  • theguru changed the title to Adair County vs. Hart County Predictions/Updates

The only team Hart has played with a winning record I think is Caverna and they play one of the weakest schedules in the state as they probably should. However they have beat the teams they have played badly. Barren scrimmaged both of these teams and I actually thought Adair looked better but I think Hart gets it in the end 28-21.

As I was looking through the numbers for each team, the productivity of Hart County's trio of Asbury, Martin, and Griffin lept of the screen. Collectively they average 16 yards per touch. Each one averages double digits in yards per carry.

This is not your grandpa's three yards and a cloud of dust wing-t. They pop long runs with regularity.

To balance this out a little, Grant averages 10 yards per carry for Adair, while Stonebraker collects 24 yards every time he catches the ball.

Basically, there's big play potential everywhere you look.

I've been told that the Adair RB is out.

I think Adair has had some injury issues this year. They've typically responded well so we'll see how it goes tonight. Should be one of the best games in the state this evening.

If that running back for AC is out they are probably in trouble without him last week against Glasgow they couldn’t do anything offensively. They only scored 3 tds and two of those were kickoff returns for touchdowns.
