This really should be renamed to "Are the WNBA sistren about ready to kill the Clark.... golden goose." I assume her teammates love her as she seems pretty non-controversial, but a lot of the women on the other squads can't stand the attention she's receiving. And she goes out and gives them the business, which makes it all the much better.

This is great for the WNBA.

That is interesting. I wonder how that would compare to the NBA if you took a guy that has played 50 games and averaged 8 assists, where would they be on the all-time list? When you consider most people are out of the league in 2.5 years and have very little to show for it, maybe it isn't that drastic. I don't know.

She's a great player, but I bet less casual followers of the women's game know who she is than Buekers. There is no comparison between her and Clark. 

The NBA already had Kareem, Walton, Dr J and other Stars, but Bird/Magic took it to the next level.

The curse of playing on the West Coast for a team that wasn't Stanford or Oregon.   With SC in the Big10 now and playing half their conference schedule in the Central and Eastern zones, she will gain a lot of notification, fast.    She'll have to continue to do it, consistently, for another year or so to hit Clark or Buekers levels of popularity.

She could become a third leg that the WNBA builds on, along with Clark and Buekers. 

Last night, Chicago was up to their usual CC game plan.   Throw a few shoulders into her and see what she does.  The W version of the "Jordan Rules."  What she did was 31 points and 12 assists.

Chennedy Carter was out of the lineup with Covid, so it was Diamond DeShields who was assigned to be the physical one.  With the above stat line and a 24 point lead when Clark left the game, it clearly didn't work.
