I saw a report today that said that WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert originally was not going to suspend Alyssa Thomas for the above incident and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver called her and said that she needed to be suspended. UNREAL!

I saw the same report.  The WNBA is trying to run me out of the building, consistently.
