January 25, 200719 yr UK had the bad game HammerTime, not just the freshman. Having freshman on the court is not an excuse I'm going to use and I hope that Tubby don't use it either. The trend continues. You were basicly calling him crazy for saying that. I know the whole team struggled. It wasn't pretty.
January 25, 200719 yr I feel bad for Bobby Perry. He is not a bad player, but he is having a horrible season, and it is really hurting Kentucky. I saw flashes to be positive about, but jeez, this was a bad loss. Stevenson made a couple mistakes early (didn't catch the ball well) but he also made some positive things happen. Why never let him see the floor again? Porter played pretty good in spurts and looked horrible at others. I don't think he is a bad player, but he is better suited (at this moment at least) to not be the primary ball handler. Meeks is not perfect, but needs to play and play alot. He moves his feet VERY well on defense and will be just fine.
January 25, 200719 yr Im not jumping off ship Im am just venting my frustrations out on this team for there heartless second half performance.:fire: I've not jumped ship yet either, but the Tubb has most definately sprung a leak.:irked:

January 25, 200719 yr I really think we can walk away with only 2 losses after that schedule... I would LOVE that. (I'd prefer it losing on the road to UT and UF) I just don't see it happening without something of a renaissance from these guys. They don't move the ball, they make sloppy passes, they don't get it down low. They simply don't look motivated.
January 25, 200719 yr I have yet to understand the logic of having 5 boys out there hitting on all cylinders and ahead 17 points and putting in 4 subs from the low end of the bench and letting Georgia shave the lead down to 12 -13 points before halftime. I see this happen in middle school and in high school and was just wondering if this was just a trend. Do you see this too. Also to me , a guard that can't shoot is not much of an asset to a team.:flame:
January 25, 200719 yr I really think we can walk away with only 2 losses after that schedule... The CATS can...but what is most likely.
January 25, 200719 yr The worst thing about this team is they should have beat Vandy,They should have beat UGA.It's one thing to get beat it's another to give them away.No excuse for this loss.Bobby Perry should go to the Doctor because I don't believe that guy has a heartbeat. For a Senior he plays with zero emotion.Very Sad!:fire:

I like the Bobby keith method...When you've got them down early, kick'em till it's over.
January 25, 200719 yr The CATS can...but what is most likely. Don't know what is most likely, but more than 2 losses is a mortal lock...
January 25, 200719 yr This was unbvleievable to say the least, not so much the fact that we lost but the way we lost. 1st half was an all out clinic on how to play defense by U.K.. 2nd half was an all out clinic on how to give a game away by U.K.. I give UGA credit. They made adjustments at the half and took advantage of MANY U.K. mistakes in the 2nd half. Heck, we tried to give that one away a few times before UGA decided that they would take it:irked: . Terrible unforced turnovers in the 2nd half. No excuses for this one. I don't know about anyone else but I didn't think that we were going to go unbeaten the rest of the way so we just need get back up and dust ourselves off and get ready for U.T. on Saturday. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Again not the reason they lost by any means, not even half of it. But I cringe every time he touched the ball.

January 25, 200719 yr Crawford was great. Now you see why Porter doesnt get more minutes. He cant protect the ball from quick guards. Bradley is playing horribly. UGa made its run mostly with Bradley on the point.
January 25, 200719 yr Which means he is not a UK caliber player.:thumb: I thought he and Thomas both showed potential as freshmen, but failed to develop.
