  • This feels like the wrong approach and also a sad testament to what high school sports is becoming.

  • I am not saying this is what they should do or the approach they should take just the facts that whoever they bring in is going to struggle with their current roster.

  • It’s clear enrollment size at DCA will not mean much.

Steve Wright trying to coach as many teams in the state as possible before he hangs it up? lol.  Steve has a proven track record as a winning coach, but his stay is short to say the least.

Which is funny after he spent two decades at South Laurel and a little time at Southwestern he's become something of a mercenary ever since.

I think he may be try to catch Curtis Turley from down in the western part of the state I believe he did the same thing in the latter half of his career.

I’m not sure how to answer this? Are you thinking he has no chance at this job or that he’s a shoe in?

I am 100% asking a serious question. At the state tournament everyone talked as this was a done deal.

Sorry for the confusion. That was not thename I had heard, not even a name I had heard mentioned!

Now that Rodney Woods is out of Wayne County, would he be interested in a move this far north?

I am surprised this one hasn’t been announced yet, should be early next week from what have heard.

I have heard a lot of names on this one but seems the ones with most traction are Steve Adams, Kevin Burton, Michael Mendenhall and Jason Mosley.

That’s a solid list of names.  I keep hearing Steve Wright.

I haven’t heard his name but it wouldn’t surprise me. Anytime can get a coach with a state championship on resume.

I am surprised he would go to West at this stage considering they aren’t projected high in the 12th next season.

Mad South just lost the house.  At this stage, he’s a rental.  All depends on what the school wants.

In the newspaper article by Larry Vaught, Woods seemed pretty content to stay in Wayne County.

Surely they would not hire Mosley he has been removed at his last two jobs and last year's was in the middle of the season.

Kevin Burton would be a great hire. Graduated from West Jessamine, Coached Union College to an NAIA National Championship.
