Highlands in a close one. I think Cooper will keep this one in range until late.

I expect a close game. Don’t be fooled by looking at comparative scores against Ryle. A Cooper upset is possible.

  • That formula rarely seems to work. We already seen an example of that this year in NKY.  Simon Kenton beat Dixie. CovCath destroyed Simon Kenton. Yet CovCath needed a touchdown with 30 seconds to go t

  • I agree. I like Highlands in this game but if Cooper won I wouldn't be surprised.

My big question will be, in a tight game does Highlands stick to what’s working (rotating QBs or just a lot of Benke and Geisler) or get in a hurry and out of their offensive game plan. I think with the way Highlands runs the ball they win by a comfortable margin, maybe enough to put in the subs. Good luck both teams.

Great question. I believe when the game is on the line they go with their go to Guys. Just my opinion. The good part is Highlands has developed a lot of depth so they're not relying on just a few players like they were in 2021 & 2022. I certainly see a change in player readiness unlike the past. The Highlands program seems to be getting kids ready to play now instead of waiting until the kid gets to his Senior year. Quite honestly I see Freshman and Soph's catching up or even passing Sr's up as we speak. The program has changed for sure. I like change.

If Cooper can limit Highlands on the ground, this game will be a lot closer than most think.

I'm with Coach, if Cooper can score almost as much as the Birds, I think it will be a good close game.

I just don't see that happening.

Hard to go against the Bluebirds with how they've looked lately. Best case scenario: the stars - Benke, O'Hara, Alexander, Lonaker, Class, etc. - all show up and give us the game we thought it would be in the preseason.

I think Litmer's comfort and experience running the offense when called upon will play a critical role, with Highlands pulling out the win by two scores.

HHS ball on their own 31 to start.

Two quick first downs to the Cooper 33.

Highlands to the 3.

Touchdown Highlands!

Why does Highlands have to get cute with their extra points. Just kick it

6-0

We've covered this.

Jags to the 29 throwing the ball.

6 to 3 Birds.
