The two that started it were 2 guys, not wearing any logo or team apparel, therefore not certain what school they were associated with, if any. The man who was sucker punched and knocked cold by a guy in the first fight was wearing a Newport shirt. The next two involved was a Newport woman and a LLoyd woman. 

The big melee involved multiple people from Newport, Lloyd, a CovCath guy who was caught in middle trying to break it up, and a few people not wearing any team logo or apparel. 

It happened right in front of concession stand atop section 101, where CovCath fans were just coming in, Newport and Lloyd leaving.

I've personally seen it fail two times locally in the last two weeks.  I would not give that an A+ plus grade.

Don’t disagree that it’s been a failure, it’s just sad that it’s come to that. 

Coaches need to discipline their players, administrators need to discipline their coaches.

The root of the problem starts at the parenting level, coaches included.

Sad and pathetic. From the handshake line to the concourse. All over a game that no one will care about in a couple months. Grown ups need to GROW UP. 

The fight on the concourse had nothing to do with the game and ZERO involvement from anyone at Lloyd.  Yes it was a brawl but this is an internal issue from one city that really transcends the team.

Correct, they were not the instigator, nor do I believe they wanted to be involved, but if I had to guess, ended up in the cross fire.

Regular Season - fine do it after the game if you feel you must. Still prefer we go the Volleyball route and everyone shake hands before the game.

POST Season - Don’t have it after the game under any circumstances. Many kids have just played their last HS game and may not be equipped to handle it properly. And apparently the adults can’t either.

I'm sorta old school, prefer NO daps, handshakes, hugs etc. before, during or after. Be HONEST, if you’re a competitor you don’t really mean “Good Luck” cause you want to win.
