This will be the 7:30 game tonight at Covington Catholic. Holy Cross (21-7) will take on Beechwood (10-18) for a spot in Friday night's 35th district finals at 7:00 pm. If you can't make the game in person you can tune into all the live action on Holy Cross Radio starting approximately 7:15 pm.

Holy Cross defeated Beechwood 87-60 back on February 3rd in Latonia.

Wouldn't surprise me if this game is closer (much?) than the first one, but hard to see a path for Beechwood to getting all the way over the hump and ending the Indians' season.

HC is a talented, senior-laden, team, I'm sure the stakes for tonight's elimination game are not lost on the coaching staff, the young men, or their families and fans.

Good luck to both teams, I'm sure it will be a great environment at CovCath for this 35th District semi-final.

I have a lot of respect for Beechwood and head coach Erik Goetz. He will have his team ready to play. I think Holy Cross is primed to make a run but they will need to get past the Tigers tonight.

The Cross rolls big.

Hearing this be Goetz last game? Anything on that?

Interesting?

Meyer and Ward too much...... unless Beechies can dictate tempo. Maybe Goetz is going over to football lol.

Any updates?
