The Bardstown game to end the season is a fun addition to the schedule.  The Southwestern/Boyle games back-to-back will be tough games for the Ads.

Obviously the game to circle is the October 13 showdown with Somerset and Clevenger.

Lots of Danville talk on BGP:

None, if any, seems to be very optimistic about the Admiral's future.

I don't know Coach Parks.  I've read some opinions on here that did not hold him in high regard as far as his stops at BS and Berea.  But you never know the circumstances that come with each job.  Berea would be a hard place to win for almost anyone.  I do know that I like what I see him doing at Danville so far.  I only see what is shared on social media by various people, but they seem to be trying to shore up the foundation of the program.  I also think it's kind of a big deal that he is the first Black Head Coach in that school's history.  The problem is the bad taste left in everyone's mouth in regards to Clevenger.   He should not have been fired and he was.  He should have been given a decent shot at getting his job back after said firing and he was not.  That's a mighty big wall up for a lot of Danville fans.  The ones I feel for are the players who have had NO say in any of this.  I wish Coach Parks well, but it's a pretty big hill in front of him.

Hoping the Ads can buck expectations this year and put together a good season. It officially begins today.

Also, a peek at Danville's new home jerseys for 2023.

By that picture it looks like they have 20 or 21 players?  If injuries happen I fear them not being able to finish the season.

The Ads will be a young team.  I would be amazed if they won more than 3 games.

If that’s the whole team not only does it appear they don’t have very many they seem small as well.

I’m hoping that's not the entire team. I remember being a little kid and the NKY POST would put the AP top ten per class in the paper each week and we’d read these school names from across the state. Danville was obviously always in it and when they had the 42 game winning streak and it was them and Mayfield in the early 90s it was a special time for a little kid like me and my brothers. My older brother would explain how good they were and where they were located. Back then it was just the big cities if we aren’t looking at a map. Good luck ADs!!!

The way it's looking this might be the worst Danville team ever. 2-8 or 1-9.

The last Danville team to win fewer than three games was 1963 under coach Chester Caddas when they went 2-7.
