In all seriousness, Newport Shopping Center appears the walking the hill option for parking.

There’s going to be another lot on the right on the way up the hill I believe. There’s room for it and they’re putting fill there now and leveling it.

Back stairs are still there.

Need a public incline for that hill and those steps, like the used to have in Cincinnati. That climb up Park ave, then the up that street and then those steps were brutal. Especially if you had a back pack full of books.

The small school on the hill of Newport overlooking the Cincinnati Skyline will now be able to host games.

The school’s latest capital campaign has prompted the construction as it continues on the Ciafardini Family Athletic Complex with the field to be named after long time head coach Bob Schneider.
The scoreboard has been installed. Shoutout to Punky’s Pixels, one of NCC’s corporate sponsors, for their work on this.
While the turf is laid down, no games expected this calendar year. Students can expect to start using it in the spring, and I believe a track & field event will be hosted there.
Photos below were recently shared by the school’s social media page.

Last pic is a before and after from field level looking up at the south side of the school building.

Some of the details: 4 locker rooms, easily enlarged to 2. Huge concession area. Coaches offices, Training room as well as bathrooms on both levels. Picture grandstands everywhere you see cinderblock.Decent size press boxes. Standing room areas where wood faming is shown. Unreal... and the panoramic view is always incredible. From the aerial photo, you can see where the indoor facility site work has begun. The first football game on this field....PACKED. Grateful for everyone who has had a hand in this.

How big will the indoor facility be?

Not completely sure, somewhere between 30-50 yards in terms of football. Enough to utilize year round. Details still being worked out to my knowledge. ?‍♂️

Freeman Kelly Dronography out of Georgetown. That's another great photographer to follow on Facebook and Instagram (fkellydrone).

Here's a great shot from Freeman Kelly Dronography of Newport Stadium...gives you an idea of how close schools like Newport, New Cath, Bellevue, Dayton, Holmes and Ludlow are to Downtown Cincinnati. All six of those schools are playing football closer to Downtown Cincinnati than any school in Ohio, with the exception of Taft High School on Cincinnati's west end.

The view of GRC's stadium if you're coming from Richmond is beautiful. Pop the hill and it sits there dominating the scene. It's really something to see.

A really nice facility. Because of the width of the track and fan distance from the field, makes harder to watch the game than a normal high school field. Beautiful facility .
