Basketball is a shooters game, congrats to the cougars on the win. With Newport playing really good and this, the region might actually be open for the taking. Colonels will bounce back harder after this, long long season.

CovCath usually wins the points-off-turnovers category, sometimes by a lot, but the Colonels had just 9 points off turnovers tonight while Conner had 11. It looks like a big difference was at the free throw line:

Conner 25-for-30 for 83.3%

CovCath 10-for-15 for 66.7%

Conner wins by 6. Conner outscores CovCath by 15 at the line.

They lost to Male, Ashland Blazer, and Warren Central last year. Did I misunderstand your comment?

Loss *in Park Hills*...as in, losing a home game.

To me Conner looked like the stronger, more athletic team. That’s what lead to so many more fouls by Covcath. The fouls were the difference imo.
