Tough job for any coach being in district with Trinity and Ballard. I'd say the AD probably measured the program against Ballard and they haven't had success against them.

How long was he there? 

2 years I believe.

Tough timing to tell him at the end of the day the last day before break. Didn’t give him time to tell the team face to face. Admin dropped the ball on that.

This would be a good job for Jay Cobb.

With all of those athletes at Eastern, that would be a great fit for the Atchley guy at Frankfort.

They have assistant coach Derek Dozier handling things for now.

Had a little confusion, initially, because they went ahead and put his name in as the head coach on the KHSAA directory.

 

Weird situation and one of the toughest jobs with that district. 

Is Derek Dozier the new HFC? 

 

Looks like former Eastern coach Shawn Yohn has had some big changes in life. He's now out in Puyallup, Washington serving as defensive coordinator for the Rogers High School Rams.
