Pulaski County 60 Bryan Station 59

Final from Madison Southern in the Lee's Famous Recepie Holiday Classic. 

 

Crazy finish to this one, Pulaski was down by two with Bryan Station shooting free throws.  The Bryan Station player missed the free throw that would have put the Defenders up by 3.  Pulaski's Barek Williams rebounded the miss and threw the ball downcourt with one hand.  The heave went in to win the game.  I know there is footage of it because I have seen it, but it wasn't something that I could link.   Perhaps someone else will have better luck.

Here is a link to a video of the shot posted by the Commonwealth Journal.  It's take from the top of the bleachers, but the play can be seen clearly.  That had to be a 70 foot shot.   I tried to find a way to imbed the video, but couldn't find a way to share it that way:

I'm not sure. I just saw the headline on the online version of the Commonwealth Journal and watched the shot.

Starting to wonder if Pulaski is still the favorite in the 12th. Doesn’t seem like they’ve been playing well of late.
