Woodford wrote the script on it. Take the run away. Even if you have to play some 1 on 1 matchups outside that aren’t favorable, you have to beg the FD QB to make the throws. 
 

In their last two games FD is 24/44 passing for 141 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs (3.2 YPA passing).
 

That’s not to say BG can easily emulate the defensive success of Owensboro or Woodford County, FD still has the dawgs to break a play at any given moment; but I imagine they will certainly have a similar gameplan as those two teams.

Owensboro did great job of getting pressure on FD’s QB too. He’s not a mobile scrambling type QB that can keep a play alive with his legs long enough to get receivers open downfield and there’s 0 chance he’s going to tuck it and run. If BG can get in the backfield, they can make things really uncomfortable for him. FD’s line is going to have to give him more time. 

I haven't seen FD play which makes it really to predict a team. The best way to get a feel for a team is to watch them, not look at stats or even schedule. 

Going by what people have on here and others I have talked to, FD definitely is the favorite. If they have the athletes everyone says they have then BG will have problems. BG is still young and if FD has athletes that are junior and seniors that's a big difference.

But I am worried this could turn into a St. X like game where Bg has trouble up front. Now the Purples didn't play well at St. X, but even if they did, I don't believe they could have won. And BG hasn't faced really any athletic teams in the playoffs either. So FD has to be the favorite in my mind. But I've been wrong before.

This is kind of what I'm thinking too. BG has to make plays early on offense. Against St. X they had some opportunities to get some big plays, but just didn't convert. If they don't convert on their opportunities then I see a similar outcome to what is posted, if they can gain confidence early, they'll be in good shape. I do think the BG defense will be able to play well against the FD offense and maybe be able to find a way to turn them over, which is always a variable in big games.

I know I picked BG to win, but I tend to do that even when they play teams like Warren Central of Indiana.  I agree with this post as well, definitely a realistic outcome and you’re exactly right about BG coming out flat and struggling up front.  It will require their best effort and coming out strong.

I thought NFHS shot video on a 2005 RAZR flip phone lol. The quality is awful! I was out of town trying to watch my grandson play a few years ago and I could barely tell when he was in the game… and he played QB! I’ve enjoyed the Glicod broadcasts.
