They pulled his offer just like they did Longmire from Corbin last year. I don't think he will be the last recruit in the class of 23 to decommit from Kentucky. The Transfer Portal is hurting a lot of kids.

Is the PWO? Or not I’ve heard both.

I would think this far removed from National Signing Day, that it is a PWO, but maybe not.

This is proof positive , can’t quit working  , being a poor teammate and un-coachable once you get the offer.

Yes. PWO.

Everybody from parents, players, and coaches need to understand this.  Most of these so called offers that players are tweeting about are not committable offers until you receive an official offer from the school.  A majority of the time the verbal offer from the coaches means you can come here and there is a spot but it may be a walk on spot.  Teams are going to use the transfer portal to fill the scholarship spots they have.  If they miss then and have a scholarship available they may offer it to the high school recruit.  If they land the transfer that offer now becomes a walk on spot.

Spot on….these “offers” today, are not like they used to be 20-25 years ago, when if they offered you a scholarship it meant you had a scholarship. Now most of these offers are non-committable, which is like giving your girlfriend a promise ring, and never actually getting her a real engagement ring and eventually getting married. It’s really ridiculous when some of these teams offer 25 plus guys at one position.

Exactly! No offense to some of the players but there are kids getting "offers" from schools that they are not on that level of talent but the schools use it as leverage to try and get the kid they really want to commit and sign during the early signing period.  Its a dirty game but careers and lots of $$$ are on the line for these coaches so they are willing to do whatever they have to to win or get promoted.  If the kid you really don't want commits they just say well its not a scholarship but a preferred walk on or just a walk on spot.  A head coach used to be able to be honest with players and parents about this stuff but if you tell somebody the truth these days they transfer lol.

I agree completely.  If its not a committable offer then don't say anything.  The thought process used to be if I tweet about it then other schools will notice me and might offer as well.  That was the case years ago when schools weren't offering 500 kids a year lol.

EKU has offered half of Kentucky. Most kids with those offers end up playing NAIA, which is nothing wrong with that.
