I don't think either team should be happy.

Sat through most of this looooooong game.  A win is a win.  I will continue to say Charlie Noon needs a minimum of one touch per offensive series, kid is just a flat out player. Running game was reall

  • Hey, that’s the Highlands way going way back. Highlands shouldn’t ever be sucking wind. Dale would run our stones off if anyone put that much on the scoreboard.

Knew it would be close, But did not see either team scoring this much.

Wasn’t as close as the final score.

Allergy season in Union? Allergic to defense.

Epic special teams meltdowns and 4 turnovers by Ryle. Both teams appeared to play starters the entire game as the Raiders never quit. Congrats to the Birds.

Ryle looked like a sloppy and unprepared team which surprised me.    Highlands looked like a team that had much better athletes and a ton more speed than Ryle.
This version of Highlands also seems to be committing too many penalties.

Highlands didn’t have many starters out there after it was 57-25. There were a couple. If Highlands makes any effort whatsoever to run clock instead of passing after that big lead, the game ends 30 minutes sooner.

Highlands was really undisciplined the first half. Noon, special teams, and turnovers sealed Ryle’s fate. I’ve never seen a Ryle team have a special teams meltdown like tonight. Ugly.

Congrats to the Birds. Offense looks pretty good. Benke seems to be adjusting to QB and looking comfortable. He’s obviously the guy and will only get better. Wide receivers looked great as usual. Running game looked better. The first half highlands defense looked great. Pressured the QB, finishing tackles. Second half they looked a little winded. Pursuit to the ball got significantly worse second half.

Got the W. Lots of good things, some things to clean up, conditioning is a factor. Run them boys hard Monday.

That’s not what the announcers said during the last 3-4 minutes of play. I’m just going by what they said since I’m not familiar with the Birds roster.
