Yep! I just mentioned that in my post too. All three games they switched to that matchup zone with about 3 minutes left and then just completely confuse and shut down the other team. Very impressive!

Vegas doesn't cause a line to stay at 12.5. Nobody believed St. Peter's could do this. No money on them. No change in the line. Vegas sets the initial line based on how they think people will bet. Vegas doesn't really predict spreads based on what they think will happen. They predict what the public thinks will happen.

Happy for St. Pete’s but boy did we have it right when we all said Kentucky had the best draw in years.  The Peacocks had other ideas however.

Obviously not the best draw in years. Considering UK had to play what is obviously the best 15 seed in the history of the tournament lol. ?

I don't think most of the public expected a 3rd straight win.  But I definitely didn't expect a blowout.

In 2022, they are 15-5. Two of those losses were to Iona. Two were to Sienna. Got hot at the end of the year.

Going into the tournament it was said they were a very good defensive team, but that they were not a good offensive team and struggle scoring the ball. So they obviously have figured it out on the offensive side, because their offense has executed very well in this tournament.

Amazes me that coaches are paid so much money for not being able to get their teams to adjust.....but HS coaches can. End of game situations and attacking pressure is remarkably BAD.

AGREED!

St. Pete is a perfect example of what can happen when you teach defense AND demand that your team play it and you coach your team during the game instead of focusing your attention on screaming at them and the officials!!

Absolutely! Still doesn’t change that they ended up playing the best 15 seed in history. Meaning if was not as easy of a draw as it appeared to be. 
 

With that said, they still should have never lost to Saint Peters.

On paper the draw did look easy, but that's why you play forty minutes.  Yes. a 2 seed is supposed to win over a 15 seed.
