I won't be surprised to see Murray State take out Kentucky.  I think Kentucky at their best is the best team in that region, but how long has it been since they were that team?

Dayton, Oklahoma, Texas AM and SMU are the first four out.

 

Pretty brutal for A&M.  I don't understand how Rutgers goes in over them.  That losing streak obviously was a big part.

If UK makes it to a game against Purdue, that is trouble. That is a terrible matchup and I have a hard time seeing UK beating Purdue. 

It stinks that Murray would play UK in round 2.

I cannot remember a draw for UK that I liked better than this one.

I certainly hope so.  I'm just shaken with Kentucky at the moment.  Last 2-3 weeks have not been crisp.  I do agree with everyone, the draw SHOULD favor them.

I don’t think any of us UK fans can complain about their draw this year. Now they just have to go out and get it done! 
 

Also we have now seen once again the SEC tournament winner means nothing. It has happened to UK a couple of times after winning the SEC, and now it happened to Tennessee. Tennessee earned the chance to at least be a 2 seed with UK and honestly probably should have been flip flopped between UK and Tennessee. 

It's intriguing to me that Auburn was considered the better 2 seed on the S-Curve (5th vs. Kentucky at 6th), but that Auburn was pushed to the Midwest with Kansas.  Is Chicago considered a better location for Auburn compared to Philadelphia by that much to give them a tougher matchup?

Despite that, I think if Xavier had won that OT game at Providence they would be in the tournament.

Another narrative that the committee made happen? If Kentucky advances to the Sweet 16 they go to Philadelphia almost 30 years to the exact day after Duke/Kentucky.
