Titans.

With the way they started, the Steve McNair drama, and the Albert Haynesworth stomping incident, this team could have ended up as bad as the Raiders.

I have never been a huge Vince Young fan, but bottom line is the guy is a winner.

Jeff Fischer also deserves credit for doing more with less. The Titans play in a smaller market, and don't have a roster full of stars, yet they ended up with nearly the same record as the undersachieving Bengals, Broncos, and Falcons.

Da Bears! - Lovie Smith is a great person and coach. They are not pretty, but they just win. Old time down and dirty football, with some big special team play.

It hurts to say these things, I'm a Green Bay fan.

No doubt the Saints. No one picked them to do anything this season, and they got a first round bye in the playoffs. SI picked them to go 6-10, so I think they are the most pleasant suprise...

Individually, Alex Smith of the Niners would get my vote. Solid 2nd season helping the Niners get back on the right path after a MISERABLE rookie season.

Without a doubt, the Jets. Chad Pennington....enough said.

I went with the Jets, but the Saints and Titans both huge surprises.

The Chargers. Total package. Very fun to watch, both sides of the ball. NFL entertainment at its finest. They may not win it all, but its been a great season for them.

Hard to go against the Saints... All year we all just kind of kept waiting for them to remember who they are... And they didn't. Maybe they're actually for real this season?

Crazy... Simply crazy.

Suprise, has to be the Saints.

The Chiefs, Chargers, Bears, and Eagles were expected to be good. The Titans and jets come in a close second and third.

I wanted to go with the Eagles, just because it was a pleasent surprise to see them do as well as they have after McNabb went down. But, my vote went to Drew Brees and the Saints.
