Saints!!! You get handed the best player in college football due to some idiotic brain cramp in Houston, you fluke out a stud in Colston in the 7th, and you get a stud QB who the only ? was could he recover from surgery! Perhaps we shouldn't have been that surprised, but they got my vote. Of course, all of these things are easy to point out after the fact, who'd have guessed they'd have done this well?

Have to go with Vince and the Titans... then the Jets, they came out of nowhere.

They've been the Aints for years and after everything that city and team has been through I think they are one of the most pleasant surprises ever.

Individually, what Chad Pennington has done this year is amazing.

Vince Young. The Saints are a great story, but they would've contended for a playoff spot regardless with the talent they had. The Titans would've been lucky to win three games without VY.

For me personally, it was the Tennessee Titans because I am a Titan fan. I am elated that Vince Young looks like he's going to be a great QB in the NFL (I had my doubts, so much so that I was a little disappointed when they picked him). So, to see him elevate that team with his leadership, make the same clutch plays I saw in college, play the QB position quite well and make dramatic improvement in his play from when he first took over until the final week has me really pumped about next year and the future of the Titans. That said...

I went with the Saints because of the whole story with what they went through last year and such. This team wasn't projected far above the bottom of the NFL in the pre-season. There were questions about how good of a coach Sean Payton would be. There were questions about how healthy Drew Brees really was. Some people questioned how good Reggie Bush would be...if the Saints would maximize his abilities with their game plans...how he and Deuce would co-exist, etc...and they answered them all. Also, they unleashed an unheard of late round draft pick, Marques Colston on the NFL. They were projected to finish behind Carolina, Atlanta and Tampa Bay in the NFC South, yet here they are with a first round bye going into the playoffs. Pretty sweet. Had the Titans finished the deal and made the playoffs, I might have picked them, but I'm going with New Orleans.

The Saints, What a story that will be, if they go on to the Superbowl.
