Rickyp
Not a shot at Rose Hill in any way. I have stated my opinion on the Mayo era and that I had no problem with it at all, but how many players would you include in your list that graduated (or played for Rose Hill) more than 7 years ago ? Again, not trying to start anything at all, I dont know much about the tradition involving sports at the hill pre OJ. Tommy Holbrook would probably be on the team and he was pre OJ. In 4 years my all Rose Hill team would be Jackson, Euton, Mayo, Dawson, Walker. Not to shabby. By the way, has anyone thought about the irony of an OJ signing with USC. That just hit me tonight. I will take a stab at Ashland. Larry Conley Harold Sargent Ellis Johnson Marty Thomas Bobby Lynch Many other could be on the list. Chuck Cantrell, Jeff Tipton, Greg Swift, Jim Harkins, Clint Wheeler just to name a few. Plus they have maybe the greatest name ever in the region in Pickle Farrow, not a bad player either. I'm sure scooterbob or Frances could help out on this one.
vogueman
Austin Hill is a good player and James Hayes was good, but they were not 2 of 5 best players to play at Holmes. Holmes best 5 All Time: Guard: Dicky Beal -1980 Guard: Mark Moeves - 1978 Forward: Doug Schloemer - 1978 Forward: Jack Jennings - 1988 Center: Kevin Eilers - 1990 Reserves: John Wimzie - 1978 Phil Davis - 1979 Tony Malik - 1978 Anthony Hughes - 1990 Austin Hill - 2007 You have to have Corey Pouncy and Chris Hayes on this list

AHSPanther23
Robin Kelsch would be Player/Coach! I think that would be a state champ team! Since you would have Robin as Player/Coach and Patrick and Bill would be two solid players.
highschoolsportsfan
Anybody wanna take a stab at one for Ashland? Man that would be tough.. I know this is one of the toughest posts I have ever tried to make! And I know I will get ripped by the Ashland faithful about it, but since no one else seemed to give it a shot, I thought I would! Understand, I didn't see many of these guys play, but heard my dad and others who played against some of them tell me about them. Let the "Oh, I can't believe you left off ____" posts begin!
