  1. Stephen Gibbs is a workhorse. Best defensive player to come out of Augusta in a long time. Adds an enormous spark off the bench with his constant hustle. Great job Stephen!
  2. The 2 starting guards did take it a bit too far. Probably from the frustration of not being able to score, which they didn't. #21 always seems to play dirty, noticed it in the Bracken game, needs to show a little class.
  3. Not sure, but I think Don and Lou Cunningham did in the 60's.
  4. The Saints must still be sulking about the district draw. Nice warmup game before taking on the royals.
  5. Again, obviously no guard play (scoring) for Augusta. Not going to get too many wins if your guards can't score. Staggs is a workhorse. He and Mofford can only carry you so far. Congrats to Deming.
  6. Covington Catholic stands alone and are second to no one. :dancingpa
  7. IMO, I think Kelsch should start as one guard. Augusta needs at least one shooting guard.
  8. Panthers just stunk it up tonight. Their big guy was out at the top of the key most of the night. No defense whatsoever by anyone wearing orange. Probably didn't help anything that several of the players were out at the gym most of the afternoon watching the other two games, but who knows. Congrats to the Devils, what hustle!
  9. Awesome win for the Panthers. The big men for Augusta dominated. Again, as in the Bracken Co. game, Jo Jo Grey came in and sparked Augusta with 3 huge 3's. Good job Jo Jo! Several turnovers and poor shot selection in the 4th quarter made this game as close as it was, but still a great win for Augusta. Augusta's starting guards need to work more on their shooting, even though they did hit a couple of 3's tonight.
  10. Obviously he knows little about coaching and less about basketball because Augusta played a 3-2 zone, not a 2-3.
