Bracken takes the season series.

Nice to see the Bears come out with the win after a dissapointing district draw.

I agree pb1994. The bears could have very well packed it in. But they come out and play with pride and get the W.

Congratulations to Coach Fite for another hard fought victory...

Good Luck to Coach Fite and Coach Kelsch in the district tournament...

Glad to see that a coach at Bracken Co. is getting it done! Good Job Coach Fite...

I finally attended a boys game tonight and now I know what you all mean about managers... The manager at BCHS looked very nice..

I think this is the most sensible thing that you have said since joining this forum...

Details...Bracken came out strong and held on stronger. Augusta would get as close as 4 but could not get over the hump. Talked with Coach Kelsch after the game.He said Bracken must have had 45-50 Rebounds. We had about 25.

BC 16 16 10 18

A 8 13 12 19

Had a cpu malfunction at halftime. Pretty sure thats right.

Jeremy Hardymoon led Augusta with 17 and Brayde Hamilton had 11. The only players to reach double figures.

D. Staggs, J. White, and C. Mofford all with 6

S. Cummins 3, M. Groves 2, S. White 1

Augusta now 10-12

Augusta did win the JV Game 43-40

Chris Mofford led Augusta with 20 and Ty Krebs added 10.

B. Hamilton 9, S. White 4

JV Now 11-5

Great job by Coach Fite for keeping the Bears motivated and beating what is probably their main rival for a third time(not an easy task). Here's hoping they finish the season strong and leave it on the floor at The Fieldhouse

That was because of the poor excuse of a two-three zone Augusta was playing. They didn't find anyone to block out. Every player stood there hoping the ball would come off the rim right to them. Poor execution.

I like the two-three but when you chase Hall up and down the court out of the two-three your giving up penetration and isn't that playing to Hall's advantage? He's the best penetrator in the district.

Didn't Augusta lose to them using this gameplan last time? I guess Augusta thought the Bears got lucky last time, because they didn't change a thing in their gameplan.

Coach Fite knew what was coming and had his players ready for it. He had four guys crashing the offensive glass the entire game.

Congrats to the Polar Bears---keep working hard to finish the season strong--I believe Coach Fite and his staff are doing a great job---I agree with LBM, the boys manager looked good Friday night, I hear he can really shoot from halfcourt

Didn't make the game, but I believe every word.

Coach Fite and his boys always play hard. Just wish he would have got a better draw. But u never know anything can happen they might pull of the big one.
