Great Game in the Panther den.

It was a very good game, always a good atmosphere in the Den.

Wow wish I was at this game. I saw Mofford play a couple of times this summer and I loved how hard he played. I thought the score would have been a little closer though. Was it close through out or did Augusta control the game from the tip?

Very dissapointing for Bracken County. The low score kinda says Bracken County's 3's weren't falling tonight and that could be trouble at times during the season, there is no inside game whatsoever,either offensively or defensively. Anyone at the game with feedback on how things went.?

I missed this one. Glad I did. I said in the prediction thread that Moford would have a big game, and he did. We've got Deming on Friday. Unless the guys can shore up the defensive woes, then it will be just as bad.

Does Deming have an inside presence,ala Mason or Mofford? If not, could be a shoot out between the Kings and Mitchell vs. Hamilton and Workman

Great game by Mofford. He really understands when to step up and how big a game Augusta / Bracken is. Bracken just never had a answer for him. Or Ryan Kelsch for that matter. Think for Bracken to have some success, somebody is going to emerge in the post. If not those threes are not gonna be open. Augusta pretty well controlled this game after the first quarter. Want to give a shout out to Steven Gibbs from Augusta. Thought he had some quality varsity minutes tonight and responded very well. Most likely earned himself some more. As always, great game in the Den. Best three bucks I spent this week !

Stephen Gibbs is a workhorse. Best defensive player to come out of Augusta in a long time. Adds an enormous spark off the bench with his constant hustle. Great job Stephen!

I think Todd Jefferson and Craft are going to have to play like their size for Bracken County to be successful on bad shooting nights.

I agree with all. Mofford put up big numbers tonight congrats to him. He just needs to put up numbers like these all the time. Ryan Kelsch also had a good night with 21. He started off slow but found his rythem and went with flow. That is how basketball should be played. How bout Stephen Gibbs? He worked hard from the first second he went into the game to the final horn. On paper it doesn't seem like much, but if you was there you would have seen a very solid game from this young man. Shawn White had a quiet night. Even though his scoring wasn't there tonight he kept the team running like a well oiled machine. He was calm and poised at the point guard spot which led to some nice assists by him. Ty Krebs had a big third quarter which helped keep the lead and pushed it out a little. Great job on the boards big fella. JoJo Gray hit the glass well comming up with a key rebound off a Colten Fraysure missed second free throw. Finally Colten Fraysure also had a quiet night but his presence was felt with some of his key passes and shot selection.
