Congrats to Augusta, one of the best games I have seen them play!

Augusta was led by Chris Mofford with 22 points and 13 rebounds

 

Dustin "Shooty" Staggs added 20 of his own and 11 rebounds

 

Ryan Kelsch who started this game added 18 points

 

Jo Jo Gray came off the bench for 12 of his own, another good game for Mr.Gray who has really started to turn up his game

 

S. White had 7 and B. Hamilton 5

 

 

Jv game was a 46-57 loss for the panthers

 

Colton Fraysure led the panthers with 21 points

J. Gray 7, J. Kelsch 6, S. Gibbs 5, R.Kelsch 3, J.Poe and H.Kiskaden 2

 

Colton is really showing some promise as a Freshmen. Look to see him have some big games in the future.

Well I was wrong N MY PREDICTION but glad to see the Panthers pull it off!!!! Congrats to Coach Kelsch and his boys!!!!

Congratulations to the Augusta Panthers.. I was a little concerned because they hadnt played in a while. I really thought a let down was possible. Panthers beat a solid Harrison County team.

This has to be considered a great win for Augusta. There are some traditional single-A powers out there (UHA), as well as some recent ones (Elliott County), but Augusta won't be confused with either. Any time a team with Augusta's enrollment can whip up on a school the size of Harrison County, it's a BIG DEAL.

What has happened to Harrison's defense? Another disappointling loss for the Thorobreds. Wonder if Coach Reitz thought it was going to be this bad? Hopefully the Breds can get the ship "Reited" before the District.
