Wendy's owns the fast food fries market. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! 1
Irish Cat
I'm a big fan of Hasselback potatoes, but I rarely make them cause they are bit of a pain to prepare. I'd guess I eat fries most often followed by baked potatoes. This would never win a popularity contest but my Grandma's German potato salad is out of this world good. brown4
All potatoes are great, but I really enjoy hash browns. The shredded kind.

TheDeuce
Oooohhh. I forgot about potato skins. I may have to rethink my stance.
Jumper_Dad
For those that love baked potatoes, do you eat the skin? I always eat the skin unless it is encrusted in salt, as some places do.

bugatti
What makes potatoes so wonderful is the ability to mix it with virtually any protein. Top notch steakhouse steak + a potato to combine each bite with = bliss.

I love the skin but I rarely add salt to anything so I am with you there.

My only beef on potato skins is often times there isn't a lot of potato included.

I always like that line to lean to too much. I love them with ketchup and ranch dressing.

A lot of important truths in your statement. I find most places struggle to strike the right balance needed for skins. When they're done right, they're hard to beat. Still, if I could only eat potatoes one way for the rest of my life, it's fries for me.
