Danville didn’t have the horses to run with the Chargers in this one. All puns intended.

Did BE anchor the Ads down?

I will show myself out...

A friend told me that went to the game that  Danville got manhandled. All the big wigs that wanted Clevenger gone over starting a Freshman QB over a certain QB are getting what they wanted.

I kind of saw this coming. BE can score in bunches and Danville has had issues scoring the football. I didn't see the 62 points, I was thinking more along the lines of 48ish, but could see Danville being beat pretty good by this solid BE squad.

I can't remember the last time Danville got beaten this badly, but I also can't say I'm surprised at the result either.  Without Burns I figured this wasn't going to be a close game.  Kudos to Bullitt East on the win.

I think Burns playing changes the score but not the outcome, which is essentially saying the same thing as Dfan.  Hope he can back on the field soon.  It was 14-13 at the end of the 1st qtr.  Was also really surprised at the number of fans in the stands.  I know they had to cancel two games but they had won the other 4 they had actually played and there was nobody in the stands on the home side.

With Burns, they lose by 28 or 35, not almost 50.  Danville simply got worn down.  BE starts nobody both ways & it showed.  The key stretch of the game came mid 2nd qtr. & it was with defense for BE, not offense.  East scored & went up 21-13.  The next Danville offensive play was a pick 6.  It’s 28-13 & Danville gets the ball back.  The very next Danville play is another interception & East took advantage & scored quickly.  It was 35-13 at that point & you could see in Danville’s body language they were done.

I wouldn’t necessarily say manhandled, but East was definitely better up front on both sides of the ball without question.
