One last tweet that seems to confirm it.

Oklahoma: "We're going to the SEC"

Lincoln Riley: "I'm good, y'all have fun with that though"

Well at least Lincoln Riley was truthful yesterday when he said he was not going to be the next coach at LSU. ??

Contract for Riley to include unlimited use of a private jet for he and his family, a $6MM home in LA, $500K over the asking price for both of his homes in Norman, OK... oh, and $110MM.

"But there is just not enough money..."

I picked the wrong career path.  I could have been a head coach for one year and be set.

Yeah, you land one of these major gigs now, it sets your family up for generational wealth. Kind of ironic when you think most of your workforce is free labor.

It's all about the value they create for the university.

Honestly though... Norman or LA? Competing for the top spot in the Pac 12 or SEC? Easiest choice Riley has ever made.

I just got back from LA and that traffic is no joke! ? Though he probably worked into his contract a daily chopper ride to and from work.

USC is always the right coach away from being at the top of the food chain in college football. Your degree of difficulty is much less in the PAC 10 with a plethora of talent within a few miles of campus. There are so many recruits they have been missing out on of late, as I understand.

Finally, a competent Head Coach after having to put up with the worst Head Coach in Division 1 Football for the last 7 years.
