September 6, 20215 yr We'll see if the gamble works, but it really is ironic that he hit the 50 yarder. If they call it incomplete, better pray he hits the 40 yarder.
September 6, 20215 yr That joke was better when Steve Spurrier did it, Coach Kelly. Excuse me, John McKay. So even more dated.

September 6, 20215 yr Big win for the Irish! Now we need the Cards to get it done tomorrow night against Ole Miss.
September 6, 20215 yr I knew when FSU called that timeout to challenge and the 50 yard attempt went through the uprights they were destined to miss the next one. I feel like it is almost every time that happens, that whatever happened on the first kick, the second one is the opposite. This should be a huge momentum boost, but now they need to back it up. I think they can win the next four games, and really aren't in one I don't expect them to have a realistic chance until playing North Carolina. It is time to finish these games off for wins.
September 6, 20215 yr The luck of the Irish prevails... or was it FSU's coach icing his own kicker? Irish defense was atrocious for long stretches, but especially in the second half. FSU owned the 4th quarter. I thought for all the world they'd find a way to win this game.

September 6, 20215 yr Hmmm Brian Kelly may get in some trouble with his post game comments tonight. Even though he was basically copying what another coach said in the 70s, those types of comments usually don’t go well in today’s world.

Milton seemed to move well but Travis is a legit weapon with his legs. Milton is clearly the better passer.

Especially as after Kelly's actions ended up killing a kid years ago. What's he going to do, put his entire team up on a scissor lift in high wind?
