Flipped him from one side of formation to the other and the defenders lost him. You can only tell them, can't do it for them.

True but it is also the coaching staff's responsibility to make sure the message was received and understood by their players.  Doesn't look like they did that.

He is but I was referring to a play where the FSU players let him go out for a TD pass completely uncovered.

20 to 17 FSU start of the 3rd Q.  FSU with a 60 yard TD pass on the first play.

That was a great sequence there for ND. A Kyle Hamilton pick, followed by an authoritative touchdown drive. Then another interception and another touchdown, creating some separation for the Irish.

FSU is knocking on the door, though.

FSU just cramming it down ND's throat. Worst run defense I've seen from the Irish in a while. Some of it is the scheme tonight.
