Based on this article I cannot believe the KHSAA is giving the go-ahead for Johnson Central to play Bishop Sycamore.

Very interesting, seems almost scripted. 

Apparently the old adage of "all publicity is good publicity" is holding true for BS. They are getting absolutely roasted on the internet, specifically Twitter.

Roster I found from Aug 2021,  one that sticks out is from Lasalle Jalen Norwood former player, also listed at Westerville South in Columbus, now at Bishop Sycamore, so by my count he is about 20 years old and has reclassed twice. Hmmm.

Is Bishop Sycamore sanctioned in the OHSAA? I thought teams had to be sanctioned in their state for the KHSAA insurance to be in effect?

I hate to take away from the point of the thread, but I implore everyone to research this program. If you have FB, just type in Bishop Sycamore in the search bar and scan the articles. If not Google it for the same results. I can't believe this game is going to happen. This is crazy. Nothing against JC, they don't deserve any of this.

It's fascinating and horrendous all wrapped together. Like, I want to commend them for pulling it off but hate them for it to. ESPN was talking about stopping the game for the safety of the kids, but BS doesn't have any "kids". IMG just thumped young adults.

 

Soooooo who finances the equipment, trips, salaries??? And for what reason? Like this is a real life April Fool's joke! 

In whose playoffs do they participate? What colleges are recruiting their players?

Coach said they have guys coming from Croatia and London!!! Somehow they chose Bishop Sycamore over IMG and others lolololol

Well if that’s true it wouldn’t surprise me. I have a friend that coaches at an academy in FL. A majority of his players are internationals and complete freaks. They get kids that are good athletes but aren’t good enough for soccer and basketball in their country. People send their kids there to get developed and to get college scholarships. Most of his kids come from Europe, Canada and Africa. They came up a few years ago and played Moeller and almost beat them. They aren’t on the level of IMG but talent wise they are pretty crazy. 

The things that Johnson Central will go through to keep from playing an upper echelon in state team.?

Honestly, I think it’s the other way around.
