December 23, 200619 yr If he continues this years pace, I'm glad to have him around. This years schedule was a little padded to say the least, but there was significant improvement. Brooks also seems to be getting it done in the recruiting arena.

Brooks has done an excellent job of getting things moving in the right direction and IMO has earned the contract extention. He has the respect of the players and that to me is the real sticking point of his success. I hope the trend continues. Good luck to the Wildcats in Music City.

December 23, 200619 yr I overheard someone at the UK/UMass game tonight say that Brooks extension was for 2 years. That seems fair; making sure this season was not a one hit wonder with the soft schedule. Either way UK football is improving and Brooks should be given credit due to his very good recruiting.
