I felt like Brooks did a good job this year. He took over a poor program reeling from probation scholarship penalties and played rugged schedules every year. This year he finally played teams with a full compliment of scholarships. He lost to Sagarin's 4th ranked team(blowout), 5th ranked team (blowout), 6th ranked team (close well into second half), 10th ranked team (outplayed UT at UT), and the 26th ranked team(close). He beat the 24th ranked team, and the 29th ranked team, and won all his games against lesser opponents. Two and five against his superiors and undefeated against his inferiors. Four games against top 10 teams, all away, with one close loss late and the other loss a winnable game on the road. All of this while running a program that by all accounts had no ethical challenges. Who knows how he will fare next year. By any measure, he did well this year. This is from my vantage point as a neutral observer, although I am a fan of the way Brooks has conducted himself and his program.
