There's your answer if the program is still relevant or not. Thank you Bob! How about the Highlands Admins for this hire. Yes, Matt Bertasso is the Man....Again! I agree, Kudos to the Highlands Administration!

Sweeperboy 479 Posted February 4 Congrats to Highlands and Coach Sphire. The side distraction worked well, Matt Bertasso put a clinic on and deserves a big thank you and apology from many including myself. Beat Colonels!

Jack of all Trades 1,373 Posted February 4 Looks like a very good hire for the Birds. Now get a staff hired and get to work on bringing Highlands football back to the forefront in the state of Kentucky. If anything, these threads have shown that the community is behind the program and wants nothing but the best for the kids.
AgainstTheGrain 44 Posted February 4 It will be an all-star staff.
Colonels_Wear_Blue 9,778 Posted February 4 A question I mentioned in the open job thread: Coach Sphire is 63 or 64 years old. Logically, he's got to be thinking of retirement somewhere in the near future, right? Is this a unofficially an interim hire by Highlands?
FrankNicodemus 74 Posted February 4 @Sweeperboy done breathing!!! Now LET'S ROLL!!!! Great hire! Matt is the MAN!!!
