Another game of the offense literally not being able to do anything in the final four minutes.

Also I understood Allen not playing much of the second half, because the group they had in was playing well in the second half. With that said, I have no idea how you don’t put him in at the end with about a minute or two left.

Cal definitely has not done a good job with this years team to this point. So when it comes to this year, no argument from me for complaints people have with his coaching this season.

Really nice last two possessions on offense with Brooks fall away 3 point shot and a scramble that nobody knew what they were doing, ended up in a terrible shot by Mintz praying for a whistle. Could a timeout with a set for someone been a possibility? But if you are weak at setting up offensive plays in tight games then what the heck huh, let’s just let these kids have at it and maybe something good might happen!! Hall of Fame mindset?

Calipari on UK Radio Network postgame offers more on Terrence Clarke:  If you're limping around after 5 weeks and the MRIs and scans show nothing's wrong, you can't play.

Yikes, this could get a lot worse.

I'd probably fake an injury too.

I don't understand why Dontaie Allen gets only 7 minutes! and Askew gets 31 minutes. I understand Askew is young and should be senior in High School but man, it's tough watching him play. Any other year, he would be averaging 7 minutes a game.

I saw where Cal clarified his remarks. Who knows if it was legit or not. It makes sense when you consider he is about as pro player of a coach you will find, as evident by fans continually ridiculing him for "pushing" players to the NBA to better their families.

I am guilty of it, but trying to parse intent and meaning by just reading what he said probably doesn't paint the full picture (hence the reason you tell people not to email you, but pick up the phone). Nonetheless, he should be mindful of that and know how it comes across through any medium.

They are both tough to watch. But at least Allen can make some shots.

In fairness, UK scoring the ball in the second half wasn't the issue, and sadly, by default, the offense runs a little better with Askew at the point and Mintz off the ball. Now maybe sub some of those minutes for Boston, then ok.

I get wanting to preserve the timeout there; they were behind by four (I think). I can't think Brooks getting the look he did was what they wanted. You could tell he wanted no part in taking that shot.
