I don't think anyone is cool with it.

But it seems pretty obviously that Cal likes playing Mintz off the ball.  Allen is bad on defensive and a pretty awful passer.  He will get better but its looking like he's going to get better on another team.

I think MJ stated it well and it is what I have said on multiple occasions. Whatever semblance of an offense UK has, it is at its best when Mintz is at the SG spot, off the ball. By default, that leaves Askew on the court. Hence why they were trying to force Clarke into that roll.

It would have been interesting to see how that experiment would have worked if Clarke didn't get hurt.  Would he have been the only player on the team that could truly create for himself and for others?  Probably not but we'll probably never know.
