I agree. Simplified by changing the shoulder/sleeve and removing the side panel. I like the new ones better but the changes don't match the hype.

Ho hum, nothing special.  (Never really been a fan of the stripes, helmet or otherwise,  Nor the name when it was chosen way back when.)

I love the stripes and the Bengals helmet is one of the best in the NFL.

There’s a huge difference. The number font is way better with no ugly drop shadow. No shoulder contrast from rest of the jersey, no hideous side panel, no hideous “B” logo. They did very, very well with these.

For those of us who are not artistic, we probably wouldn't notice much different.  But it is a sleeker, more simple look.  The "Paul Brown" signature on the back is pretty cool.  The stripes look more natural (like a tiger) with the color blocks gone.  These uniforms plus a great draft later this month will help them perform better as a team!🤪😉🤣

I personally don’t think it takes being artistic to notice a huge difference.
