Alabama 52 Ohio State 24 CFB: National Championship

Recommended Posts

Congrats 2021 Alabama, quite possibly the best team ever.

*13-0
*10-0 vs. an All-SEC schedule in regular season.
*Beat four teams who'll finish in the Top 10 by 17+ (OSU, ND, A&M, Georgia.)
*One win by single digits.
*Averaged 52 ppg.
*Heisman/Davey O'Brien/Doak Award winners.

I feel for Justin Fields but that was one hell of an Alabama team. They dominated Ohio State with only half a game from the Heisman winner and Waddle at about 75%.  This was an excellent Alabama team.

Best offense, maybe.

Maybe.

It's been such a bizarre season.  I really think college football was pretty lackluster overall this year.

Not trying to take anything away from Alabama at all.  They were certainly dominant, especially on the offensive side.  But they've had some really awesome defensive units too.

I think LSU last year still beats this team. The offense was just as good if not better. Plus the LSU defense had playmakers on defense. Which is part of the reason why they were able to beat Bama last year.

It would be one heck of a game to see though.

Then the rest of college football is way behind.  Pure dominance with an all SEC schedule. Georgia and Ohio State are the only other teams in the same recruiting stratosphere as Alabama right now and they lost by a combined 45 points this season.

I’m taking Bama in that game.  I do think it would be an all-time matchup.  I’d pay per view it lol.

Would love to see that matchup.  LSU was so good last year.

Saw this just now..

Texted four bookmakers about hypothetical spread between 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama on neutral field.

Their responses:

Bama -3
Bama -2.5
PK
LSU -3

Nothing, you just don’t realize how good this Tide team is/was.
