Paintsville dominated the game with a potent running attack and stingy defense. The game was never in doubt for the Tigers.  Paintsville wins their first state title.

Congrats Paintsville!  Congrats Coach Chirico!

Congratulations to Paintsville, as they  get the state championship monkey off their back. Walter Brugh is smiling down on the Tigers right now.

Congratulations Paintsville!  Pretty special to get your first State Championship!

Also congrats to KCD, very good year and really tough to make it to the finals!  Good luck next year!

Who beat them in 85 after they knocked us out?

Star making performance from Harris Phelps (221 yards rushing). Just a sophomore. That family has turned out some great players in the last several years at Paintsville.

Congratulations to Paintsville!  KCD had a great season, I think they were a little overwhelmed by the size and toughness of Paintsville's line.

They will not let any cars in the parking lot until 2:00.  No tailgating.

Congrats to Paintsville for 1st Championship! Congrats to KCD being runner up!

Huge win - congrats!  Somebody text John Pelphrey!
