That is what New Cath did. 6-0 before last Friday. Then they got a 45-0 loss put on them by Beechwood in the most noncompetitive game in that rivalry in who knows when. So that's progress?

I would guess he does.

Would Jeff Barth from Walton Verona apply? He is a Highlands grad. Has had a pretty good amount of success with the Bearcats. Just throwing that out there. I have zero clue if he is even interested in the job or not. 

Lickert is not the answer imo. With the new athletic director coming from lex-cath. We might see a coach from down there.

Well dropping down keeps the Breds from facing Beechwood in the second round of the playoffs and playing another noncompetitive game. If A is the class they are placed in, why would they play up and face schools with the numbers advantage?

Hopefully Bob Sphire.  Kidding of course but Coach Sphire would be an excellent hire.

Hopefully a few from here on BGP apply. They certainly seem to have the credentials. 

Some knew this was not a good marriage several years before others were willing to see it.

Honestly I do not have anyone specifically in mind, but there are qualities that I want to see.  Someone that is excited about being a coach and can translate that excitement down into the little league and the community.  Someone with high expectations and holds kids to those expectations whether player number 1 or player number 60.  Most importantly make the culture around the program fun and exciting so that kids “want” to play the game.  The winning will take care of itself when the culture around the program improves.

Or you might see the AD throw his hat in the ring. That is what I’m hearing. 

I don't think Lickert would do much to change their success. He was a premium target about a decade ago.

If this happens, then that is not good for the program as a whole.  He has struggled to do his current job.
